Those who frequently shop online are well acquainted with the variety of free gifts, free bonuses and simply basic freebies offered to a visitor/customer of a website in order to encourage them to purchase. How could you gather, choose and offer freebies that will be appreciated just as much as the original merchandise which is being bought, put these gifts together and include them as part of your e-book? There are three simple steps to do this very thing and they are:
- Determine your keywords/key phrases in every single chapter of your e-book. Now type these phrases into your preferred search engine. You are searching for free e-books on exactly the same topic but in more depth, by a greater expert than you, or by somebody who offers a new and refreshing approach to the topic. Put a link to the free e-book in each chapter of your e-book.
- Scour the internet for related freebies. Now you are searching for things which you could offer as freebies in your e-book and which will make it even more attractive and give it more pass-along juice to your readers. For instance: If you are selling gardening materials and supplies, find a planting manual on the web which can be downloaded and include it as a present in your e-book.
- Look at the freebies pages on those websites. Many websites have freebies and encourage one to distribute them.
Additional keywords I looked for were freebies, free e-books, and free reports and then put the keyword which I needed the free stuff for. Like… “freebies for gardeners”.
Provide your audience with the best that you can offer. Let them have your e-book, additional reading materials and some freebies on top of that. Everyone loves a bargain!
